Vidal Sassoon Big Hair Styler

I’ve never been able to perfect the hair brush and hair dryer technique that hairdressers seem to employ so effortlessly (yes, I am a little envious about how easy they make it seem), so when I heard about the VS Big Hair Styler, I was intrigued. A single styler which means I  don’t need to try and wield two appliances at once, without causing serious injury to myself?

The rotating motorised brush combined with hair dryer can be held in one hand giving you total styling control. The large ceramic barrel to create fullness and body as you style whilst the soft bristles create shine and smoothness. And you know what? It actually works.

The technique is a bit unusual – you need to pull the rotating brush through your hair whilst getting enough tension to not end up with your hair wound around the brush, but surprisingly, given my inability to do the hair dryer and brush method, I found this really easy.

The Styler features 700 watts of power, ionic conditioning technology, which conditions hair to reduce static, and two heat and speed settings for variable style control.

Buy it Now: The VS Sassoon Big Hair Styler, $86.50 at the Good Guys (note: we picked ours up instore and got it cheaper for $70)

I personally prefer the hair dryer to get volume in my hair, I use the Karmin Salon Pro Professional Hair Dryer which is awesome, plus keeps the hair shiny and smooth. :D
