Violet & I – Rose of the Taj

Violet & I is a project of love for Melbourne based fashion designer Anna Linklater

This collection is loosely based around the idea of English Rose meets Bustling Indian city streets, full of colour vibrance and life!
Spring is a softer pastel palette with raw edged petal detailing, moving into summer is the vibrant colours like gold and saffron, using hand dying techniques to create beautiful patterns on silk..

Emerging on the doorstep of the fashion world in August 2009, Violet & I has captured the attention of women around Australia, drawn to the feminine charm, beautiful fabrics and laid back style.
