You know how girls, no matter their age, get a little bit excited about sparkly things? Well, alright – a lot excited. So when a gorgeous little polka dot suitcase arrived for my daughter, brimming with things that shine, sparkle and stick, she suddenly lost all interest in going to her favourite activity of the week, swimming lessons, and demanded to stay home for arts & crafts. As swimming lessons aren’t a cheap exercise, we compromised and she carted the case along to look at in the car, provided we could play with it the very minute we got back home.
