My Quotable Kid
Kids come up with some absolute doozies. The other day, my daughter, getting frustrated at being unable to locate a toy, suddenly yelled “Oh, what the Dickens!”. Why she said it or where she heard it is beyond me, but hey, at least it’s polite.
Mum and Dad might commit these funny outbursts to memory, squirreling them away until an 18th Birthday or wedding speech. The kid will blush, groan, and claim to all and sundry that that could not possibly be true – but now, here’s your own weapon of irrefutable proof that they did indeed, once yell across the supermarket that they have a really big wedgie:
