New UK Mail Forwarder: UK Brands Worldwide
One of the questions we get here at Never Shopped Out on a regular basis, goes a bit like this ‘Thanks for all the info on Mail Forwarders in the US….I don’t suppose you know of a similiar service in the UK?’. Well, not only are we glad you’ve got a US address sorted, we’re happy to say we’ve now found a UK Mail Forwarder.
UK Brands Worldwide is a family run business which specialises in parcel forwarding, custom purchases and in-store shopping at UK stores, before packing it all up and sending it to you in Australia. And today we talk to Andy, Mr UK Brands Worldwide, about how the service works.
Tell us a bit about how UK Brands Worldwide began?
When a member of our family emigrated to Sydney Australia, we found ourselves posting out regular parcels of clothing from UK retailers. After some research we realised there was a gap in the market for a UK based personnel shopping and forwarding service.
Can you give us a quick overview of how the order process works?
We offer a ‘shop and ship’ service which customers can use if their chosen UK retailer will not accept payment from an overseas credit card. To use this service the customer sends us details of there chosen item which we purchase on there behalf and dispatch to them.
Our other service is forwarding only, where we provide our UK address to our customers who then use it to shop online. Once the parcel arrives we then forward to the clients address. Finally we offer a consolidation service to customers who order from multiple retailers.
And if your chosen UK retailer does not have online shopping please don’t discount them as if there is a shop locally to us, we’d be more than happy to buy the items for you in person!

What would you say to those who have yet to try a mail forwarder?
We completely understand that people may feel nervous about using a mail forwarder, particularly for higher value items, however we find that we are always able to re-assure people and that as we are a family run business, either one of us will be fully aware of your order requirements at all times. We also use Paypal which ensures that our customer’s payments are fully protected.
We would also encourage our customers to consolidate items where possible. Our consolidation charge is very reasonable so, if your main purchase is a larger item, your can consolidate smaller purchases with it and this will often result in little additional shipping charges, if any.
What payment methods do you accept? (i.e. Credit Card/Bank Deposit/Paypal etc)
We only accept Paypal at this time however we are looking to add additional payment methods in future.
Can you tell us a bit about the international shipping options?
We are in partnership with a number of well known worldwide couriers as well as Royal Mail and Parcelforce and we will always shop around our suppliers to find the best price possible. We tailor each order to the requirements of the customer and we therefore do not have a table of shipping tariffs so please ask us what shipping options are available at the time of order. We also always encourage our customers to take insurance against loss or damage as part of their chosen shipping option, however this is not compulsory.
What are your favourite UK online stores to shop at?
There are so many quality UK retailers that we could fill this page detailing our favorites. Due to fluctuating exchange rates and seasonal sales on the UK high street, it’s often cheaper to buy in the UK. A few of our favorite UK high street and online retailers are:
