Countdown: McQ Alexander McQueen for Target US
It’s now only two days to go before the much anticipated Alexander McQueen designer collaboration for Target hits the Target online store (rumours have it some stores actually already have the stock on the floor). The collection draws its inspiration from a British Rock band and is due to hit stores on March 4th. Today, we’ve got a few tips for getting your hands on these goodies!
Now first things first – if you want to get your hands on the collection you need use a mail forwarder or find an eBay seller; Target US don’t ship internationally. They do accept internationally issued credit cards (I’ve bought quite a few things and never had any problems). I would use a mail forwarder over an eBay seller, purely because then I’m not paying a mark up and do expect these items to be popular, which will drive up the eBay prices.
To get a good look at the collection now, head to the Target Pressroom, which has lots of lovely high res photos which mean you can see the items fairly well.
Now if you’re not sure about sizing/quality and the like, I usually head over to the US based Purse Forum, which already has a big thread on the collaboration and check out what the girls who have seen it in-store and/or purchased thought of the quality and sizing – and don’t be afraid to jump in and ask if you can’t find the answer, this is where the internet is beautiful thing – why guess on sizing if you don’t have too? When the items actually go up on the Target website, also don’t forget the review function Target US has – which, incidentally, is something I love in online stores, where people leave comments about sizing, quality and fit.
Finally, as I’ve already said, expect this to be a pretty popular collection, so pop it in your calender for March 4th (late 4th, early 5th in Australia) to get your hands on it. Until then, enjoy the cute commercial, which also lets you check out the range.
