The Grand Social Pops Up

Heard the term Pop Up Retailing yet? I hadn’t til last week, but I love the concept. Basically it’s a short term store, that pops up and then disappears.

So why should you care? Because gorgeous online store The Grand Social will be ‘Pop Up’ retailing in Sydney this week, and it’s a great chance to check out some of their beautiful goodies in person, as well as snag their limited edition ‘Black Summer’ Range, which includes a stunning Ruby Smallbone dress that I think I must have!

The Grand Social Online is a marketplace for Australian and New Zealand designers but when you buy from the Grand Social you’re actually buying directly from the designer, who manages their own micro-store via the Grand Social. So wanting to track down that piece you love that no-one seems to have stocked? Via the Grand Social you can easily get in touch with them and hopefully get your hands on that must have item.

The Grand Social Pop Up Store Is happening from Wed 22nd Oct – Sun 26th Oct at 461 Oxford St, Paddington, Sydney from 10am – 6pm and will be stocking the new summer ranges of: myPetsQuare, Ruby Smallbone, Nathan Smith, Zoemou, AppleGator, Isson, GRAZ, ZM925, Matt Weston, Trimapee, Deadly Ponies, Sewn, Anna & Boy & Elsom for four days only.

The pop-up store will also unveil The Grand Social’s own limited edition ‘Black Summer’ collection (shown below) – a collaboration with a number of designers for a collection of summer pieces you wouldn’t expect to see in black. Ruby Smallbone, Zoemou, GRAZ, myPetsQuare, Oscar & Elvis and Deadly Ponies have each created a signature one-off design for the collection, with a limited edition run of only eight of each design you’ll be getting your hands on something truly unique.
