Find My Shoes

Find My ShoesI am constantly driving my mother nuts by giving her really bad descriptions of Sachi shoes and bags that I’ve seen and liked (she gets a discount through her work) and having her yell at me ‘I don’t know what a Chloe Bay Bag looks like’ (this from the woman who wants a Juicy Couture bracelet for her birthday) and ‘What do you mean it was red and pointy, what’s the style name?!?!’

Well, my mother and I are sure to have a better relationship now due to Find My Shoes. Find My Shoes is a nifty site that has lots of different Sachi, Candy, Kenneth Cole and shoes from the Pacific Brands group, complete with images, prices and style names. They’re not a online store, but if you find something you like you can plug in your postcode and pull up a list of stockists nearby.

One thing I do recommend is giving the stockists a call – the site gives you plenty of information so you don’t have to go through what I get from my mother (although any sales assistant that screams at me ‘What do you mean it was red and pointy, what’s the style name?!?!’ would quickly find me in their store demanding to speak to the manager), and there is nothing worse that driving out of your way only to find you want the one style of shoe that either sold out in a week or was never stocked.

What I found funny about this is when I emailed my mother my list of ‘wants’ and she didn’t answer my email (which I have complained about before, which lead to a response which said only ‘I Got Your Email.’), I  asked if she thought the site when was owned by Pacific Brands (they own all the brands on the site) and she answered ‘Yes’ (with an implied ‘duh’ after it), so I am asking myself why she never thought to point me in the direction of this site before – maybe she is paying me back for the teenage years? Prudence, however, suggests that I wait for to ask her this AFTER she gets me what I want!

And hope one of my sisters doesn’t show her this post thinking it would be ‘funny’.
